10 mile TT G10/57 race result - 6th June 2009

After some rain during the night, there was some light rain before the start on Saturday morning, but apart from wet roads, riders got round without getting too wet.

Riders were cautious on the many roundabout especially after a warning that there was oil on the road at the turn.
There was a light easterly wind making for a faster ride on the return from the turn at Crawley.

Stephen Emmerson won his third Inter-Club 10 mile this year, from Paul Haywood with Michael Groom taking the Epsom CC handicap award after a quiet season last year.

The Inter-Club points competition would have been much closer if Peter Doherty SWRC who would have been fourth or fifth, hadn't turned at a roundabout short.
